The John Clements Centre has quickly become a great to hold watercolour classes. The facilities are first class, always clean, warm, light and bright with plenty of space for each student and comfortable tables and chairs so we can get on and focus on painting the subject for the week.

A Class Schedule is published each term containing details of the times and dates of each class, plus information about whether we are painting a landscape, still life, flowers etc, the approach we will use and the materials to bring along. To help de-mystify a bit I also send out a ‘Prep Sheet’ for each class giving much more information, explaining compositional changes or considerations, colours, brushes etc plus a step-by-step approach to help finish the painting.

Classes run in term-time on Tuesdays (Starting Out for Beginners) or Thursdays (Splashing Out for Improvers) from 9.30am – 12.00 lunch time with tea/coffee/biscuit breaks along the way to keep us all going.

All are welcome, regardless of age or experience; there is ample parking and all the facilities needed for a very happy, comfortable and enjoyable morning improving your watercolour painting with a friendly group from local areas all sharing their passion for painting.
