Buy A Brick for Christmas
The Buy-a Brick scheme for raising funds for the new Sports & Community Centre has been a great success and has so far raised, through the fantastic generosity of the people of Codicote, in the region of £18,000. However there is still time to buy more with the closing date for submitting details for what you would like being 24th December – Christmas Eve.
This will offer everybody in the village the chance to have your name engraved upon a brick which will form part of one of the walls of the new Sports and Community Centre. Each brick is a standard size and is able to contain up to 16 characters including spaces. The cost is £30 per brick (although you can pay more if you would like to) and your name will be cut into the brick and sealed, forming a permanent feature.
There is no limit to the number of bricks you can order so why not have one for every member of your household /family and give it as a Christmas present?
You can buy bricks in two ways. You can access the website https://jc-codicote.org/, complete the order form there and then submit your payment online via the bank details below. Alternatively bricks are available to order on the form below and to return to Karry Omer, 56 St. Giles Road, Codicote, Hertfordshire SG4 8XW. Again you can pay online or send a cheque.
