Codicote Sports & Social Club
The existing clubhouse is a focal point for the Sports Clubs and local community. The social activities held include Race Nights, Quiz Nights, Christenings, Parties and the occasional Wedding. There is a Function Hall and separate Members Lounge, which are served by a well-stocked Bar with drinks at very competitive prices. There is a well-positioned patio area overlooking the sportsfield, all served by ample parking. Although well-loved by the residents of Codicote, nobody can deny that the existing facilities are dated and in need of some serious help.
On 12th April 1976 John Clements was tragically killed while attempting to rescue children trapped in a hotel fire in the skiing resort of Sappada in northern Italy.
